Milky Teas - Silk route Game
Duration: 3-4 weeks
A culmination of a longer research about tea cultures along the silk route. The game provides an interactive way to explore the data, tea rituals, recipes and ingredients in an authentic way. This is an educational experinces meant to teach whoever playing about the history and significance of the Milk teas culture, as it evolved across the silk route.
Game Mechanics
Permutations and Combination of Ingredients as a way to learn about the indeginous recipes, in an interactive manner.
Once a recipe is seleced, the player is taken to a simulation of the context of the recipes, to immersively experince the making of the teas, which is an essential part of the rituals.
Since this was supposed to an an interactive experience that presents the cultural research around the topic in a digestible way, the experience is filled with facts and knowledge at different places, gamified to reveal the right fact at the right time. Helping people learn, through doing and experiencing.
